The day once again sought to provide a range of engaging, and useful, presentations followed by an afternoon workshop looking at how to pragmatically tackle the prescribing of specials in your local area. The NHS East of England QIPP Prescribing Workstream (PrescQIPP) hosted a workshop for Pharmacists, Dietitians and other related stakeholders to look at areas of joint working around Nutrition and effective prescribing of Nutritional items against the funding restrictions over the coming years. The Mental Health / Care Home Workshops will be two separate events, made up of a morning and afternoon session. The morning session will aim to focus on work being done, and topics of discussion, around Mental Health. In the afternoon, after lunch, the focus will switch to QIPP initiatives within the Care Home setting. The Primary Care Best Practice Workshop, aiming to share best practice from inside and outside of the east of England, was comprised of keynote presentations from Peter Rowe and Carol Roberts, before covering a number of presentations on Primary Care initiatives.
